Wisconsin Forest Bathing promotes forest bathing throughout the Milwaukee area and Wisconsin as a whole, and offers opportunities for people to experience this practice. In particular, we provide group forest bathing walks led by guides certified by the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides & Programs. Learn more about forest bathing here or sign up for one of our walks.
We are working to build partnerships with local nature centers, parks, and other organizations who want to help people deepen their connection with nature. If you are interested in exploring a partnership with us, please reach out.
While Bill Hebbert currently leads all walks for Wisconsin Forest Bathing, we are interested in partnering with other certified Guides as they are trained. (Four additional Guides are currently in the certification process.)
About Bill Hebbert
Bill Hebbert is the Owner/Director of Wisconsin Forest Bathing and currently the only certified forest bathing guide in the Milwaukee area.
Bill was born in Wyoming and raised on a ranch close to the land and elements. His appreciation for the natural world and trees in particular was nurtured in these open spaces. He studied engineering at the University of Nebraska and worked his adult life for a Fortune 200 corporation but will be retiring soon. For the last 35 years he has been a meditation practitioner and teacher in a Tibetan Buddhist tradition while living in SE Wisconsin near Milwaukee. Mindfulness and awareness in the natural world is a rewarding passion.
